Renowned Event Designs was thrilled to be a part of this stunning Valentine’s Day wedding held at Ingleside Estate in Palm Springs. The clients vision was unforgettable: an upscale backyard wedding inspired by the film “Father of the Bride”, layered with vintage romance and some Valentine’s Day charm.

Partnering with elite planner Samkoma, RED was proud to collaborate on this multi-day celebration. We transformed the venue with our draping, lighting, and custom installations. From stunning chandeliers dripping in greenery, to a playful heart garland and draping that complimented the mood for each event.

Welcome Party

The celebration began with a festive welcome party. Our team installed LED uplighting and suspended customized heart-shaped garland suspended over the pool. The couple's names were printed on the garland giving it a more personalized feel and setting the tone for the fun weekend ahead.

Challenge:

The pool area came with an unexpected challenge. RED needed to transform this open space for the welcome party that was happening in the evening hours. With the sun going down and very minimal lighting in this area, we needed to get creative.

Solution:

RED addressed this situation by strategically placing string lighting installations over the pool area. We layered the string lighting with LED uplighting and soft color washes. This created a beautifully lit and functional space for the couple and their guests.

Wedding Day

For the big day, Renowned Event Designs elevated the celebration with a blend of romance and creativity. Our legendary J Hooks paired with our 6-arm chandeliers casted an elegant glow over the guests. The client envisioned a fun, dance club vibe for their guests so we installed mover lights as well as washes to give that effect.

Challenge:

With the event taking place outdoors, there was no existing rigging for our team to install our chandeliers to light up the reception area.

Solution:

The RED team used our signature J Hooks. These freestanding structures allowed us to safely hang our crystal chandeliers at the clients desired height. This design created an intimate atmosphere without compromising safety or the couple's vision.

With Samkoma’s expert planning and Shannon Yen’s stunning photography, this wedding weekend was one for the books. RED was sure to maintain the overall theme while still bringing innovative designs throughout the venue. The blend of vintage elegance and playful romance created an immersive, unforgettable experience.
